• Application to the Conference

The conference is open for professionals and beginners from all arts therapies specializations: visually-plastic art therapy, dance movement therapy, music therapy, drama therapy.

To count and to index the traditional healing technics by arts To analyse and classify these cases Promote and to diffuse traditional healing technics Case studies from practice: Voodoo, Maccumba, Ndoep, Nkita, Zebola etc.

• Acquaint with newest researches in the field of arts therapies (art, music, dance movement, drama and poetry);
• Enable to learn new techniques and methods for the practice with an accent on the health care and social care context;
• Reveal case studies and aspects of the work from the arts therapists in practice;
• Reveal application of arts in the practice of specialists from other professions;

17th July: plenary session, paper presentation and poster presentation sessions.18th-19th July: workshops.

Paper presentation sessions: Length of the session – 1,5 h. Each session will consist from 5 paper presentations, 15-20 minutes each, incl. Q&A. The presenter is asked to choose one of the 10 areas from Conference Proposals for his/her presentation to enable the participation on discussion and sharing his/her experience in the specific area of arts therapies/one of the art therapy specialization.

Workshops: Length of each workshop will be 3 hours. The presenter is asked to lead a practical workshop which demonstrates new methodological, didactic and/or technical approaches in one of the arts therapies specialization.

Poster presentation sessions: The participants are asked to bring placards/ posters with them to promote discussions on one of the 10 areas from Conference Proposals. Presentation time of 30 minutes will take place, when the poster presenters will be asked to be available for Q&A.
